Kong Kee Food Corp. was founded in Chinatown, New York in 1985. It grew steadily, expanding beyond soy products to include the production and distribution of noodles, custards, and cakes. As it increased in size and production, Kong Kee moved to bigger and bigger facilities to accommodate the growth that came with distributing all across the tri-state area. But through it all, the company never lost sight or memory of its humble roots in Chinatown. Therefore, every year it donates thousands of soy drinks and teas to a summer camp in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Kong Kee wants to give back to the community that had helped and continues to help it grow.
